Today’s music instalment comes from Dubwiser Records in the form of a four track release from Dreadzone. The release sees three different artists reworking the Dreazone beater ‘Fire In The Dark’. Released 25th January and featuring some hugely talented producers, this is a pretty unique release.

The first producers to mark their stamp on the release are Teddy Killerz. These producers are enjoying huge success at the moment on RAM Records and their all-out carnage of a production style tears this track a new one. A continuously pounding bassline rumbles the track along as the surrounding Eastern-style melody brings a real contrast of style. We know you love Teddy Killers so you’ll have this on repeat.

Bazil is next up on remix duties and brings further energy to the mix. The original track only keeps a minimal amount of its beat as Bazil brings a rolling Tech beat to the floor. Loving the Ragga tinge to this one and the raw sounds throughout. If you’re a fan of meticiulous sound design and more rolling Drum ‘n’ Bass then this is for you.

The final offering on this preview on Perspective UK comes from KingDread and their ‘Rumours Riddem’ mix. They bring more of a chilled beat to the collection – bouncing basslines, a slower tempo and a prominent role for the vocals. Light one up to this.

If you’ve not heard the original check it out below. Really feeling how every remix is given a unique sound and different focus. We’re big fans of the full on tear out Drum ‘n’ Bass here at Perspective UK so Teddy Killerz was always going to be a favoured offering but Bazil has to be the best for me.
